Relaxation...

The cuteness of sleeping toddlers is hard to match! Especially my daughter! tee hee. Doesn't it just make you want to take a deep breath and sigh? So, sit back, take a deep breath and enjoy life. As A.A .Milne says, “Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.”

I was coming to the computer to do something "really important"... and then I forgot what it was so I'm feeling a little Pooh-ish...

"I don't see much sense in that," said Rabbit.
"No," said Pooh humbly, "there isn't. But there was going to be when I began it. It's just that something happened to it along the way."

Winnie the Pooh

I feel this way a little too often it seems... sigh.

"Good morning, Eeyore," said Pooh.
"Good morning, Pooh Bear," said Eeyore gloomily. "If it is a good morning, which I doubt," said he.
"Why, what's the matter?"
"Nothing, Pooh Bear, nothing. We can't all, and some of us don't. That's all there is to it."
"Can't all what?" said Pooh, rubbing his nose.
"Gaiety. Song-and-dance. Here we go round the mulberry bush."
Winnie the Pooh

Somedays, no matter how much candy we have in our bags, life seems gloomy. But this quote actually makes me smile and feel warm inside. It reminds me of a really good friend, Mike Nelson, who passed away several years ago. He LOVED Winnie-the-Pooh and helped me love it and life too. Although Eeyore is gloomy, he sees the silver linings... One more Eeyore quote:

"It's snowing still," said Eeyore gloomily.
"So it is."
"And freezing."
"Is it?"
"Yes," said Eeyore. "However," he said, brightening up a little, "we haven't had an earthquake lately."

I LOVE when the first flowers come up through the ground. I had to put a picture of my little crocuses. Hooray for Spring!

The Ultimate Optimist

The ultimate optimist: "I don't see why some people are so pessimistic. Everyone calls them 'stop signs', but I call them go signs. I mean, sure you have to stop, but don't forget that later you get to go!"
